New Brighton Beach

New Brighton Beach is a coastal destination on the Mersey Estuary featuring a soft sandy beach protected by concrete sea defences. The beach offers shallow waters suitable for paddling, kitesurfing and other watersports, lifeguard supervision, and regular live music events at Fort Perch Rock. While not officially marked as a bathing water site, it provides family‑friendly activities and is undergoing regeneration with plans for a new lido.
